These cases appear to be well crafted from quality materials and are perfect to hold my duduk reeds safely.
This is a beautifully made instrument with a gorgeous sound. I'll be stretching my fingers and hands to get comfortable bit by bit with the wider spaces between the holes.
I thought I ordered the flute and like a little booklet not just a $70 book. Disappointed. The advertising made it look like I was buying the flute not the book.
Hi Viktor,
Thank you for reaching out and apologies for the inconvenience! Looking at your order #4518, it shows that only the Duduk Essentials book was purchased — no instrument was included in this order.
That said, if you'd like to add a duduk, we'd be happy to offer you the same discounted bundle price as if you had purchased them together from the start. Just let us know and we'll get it sorted and shipped out to you right away!
I'm a beginner but I think this is a great quality duduk. Great sound and feel. The one problem is that the on the reed one of the side bindings started coming off within the first week.
Excellent source for a quality Duduk. The Diduk came with a nice cloth carrying bag. I previously tried another supplier, and was disappointed the Duduk they sent.
You can’t go wrong with Dudukhouse.
The book was dispatched quickly and I had it within a week (overseas). The book itself is good quality and beautifully presented.
Most importantly the content is great to get somebody started. I'm not a musician, I found a duduk music video online and had an urge to learn to play the duduk.
I've read the first 5 chapters of the book, duduk background, choosing a duduk, where to buy a duduk, all about reeds, and body posture, breathing etc.
After this I feel confident to dive in a get started on my duduk journey.
As advertised. Good quality and excellent delivery service.
The additional educational content is very helpful.
I am very happy with this book and the accompanying materials. My first attempts to learn this hauntingly beautiful instrument were met with confusion when I attempted to learn through another book, “Armenian Duduk Method” by G. Minasyan. But “Duduk Essentials” seems to perfectly compliment my other books by explaining some of the important details that were missing in the other materials. Now I am beginning to understand how to play beautiful music with my duduk.
This Duduk reed is definitely a level up from the standard medium duduk reeds and is well crafted. It has a lovely sensitive response immediately out of the box - without any special preparations to moisten it.
I was very excited to receive that book that seemed to fill full all l’y expectations.
Unfortunately, the Book arrived strongly damaged by transport and in very poor condition.
Beside I had to pay 23€ more as an import tax into UE. That was mentioned nowhere when I bought that very expensive book (80€ in total !).
I sent an email with pictures of both Package and damaged book.
The editor replied quite promptly and proposed an agreement that Ive decided to accept.
So my evaluation is the average between what I got (1star) and the reaction to my claim that was 100% heard (5 stars).
The editor faced its responsibility. Thanks for that!
This duduk is authentic, well-crafted and very much worth the purchase. I has negative experiences shopping for a duduk online until I came to the Duduk House and this N. Mkrtchyan Duduk in A.
It been 2 weeks since I received the book and begin my journey with my duduk. The book is really helpful for me; it put me in the right path to practice.
Great service from Dudukhouse. The duduk and book I purchased are wonderful. Will buy again from Dudukhouse in the future.
Very nice case, well made, looks great, stores the reeds very well.
Such an encouraging and practical book for someone like me who is a rank beginner
I feel it is an excellent book, really useful. As the title indicates, it is a complete guide to get started in this captivating and beautiful instrument, explained in a pleasant, practical and inspiring way. Images, links, charts and sheet music are very useful.
I am a total newby regarding the duduk, I bought it because I just love the sound and I have loved it since many years ago, in Peter Gabriel 's music for "The last temptation of Crhrist" film, I just did not know that it was a duduk. The wooden pipe is beautifully worked, simple and nice. The reed is an ongoing experience to be learned from: I treat it carefully, I have been monitoring the quality of the sound depending on both "tongues" 's distance... The sound can come out sharp or airy, the breathing must be developed, it is demanding because it offers resistance to the flow. For me, the duduk is an instrument that demands attention and care in a nice way, it is totally different from other wind instruments I have played, and I am sure that with time and practice, I will be able to hear its fantastic melancholic whispers... So far, it is the most cared for wind instrument I have and I just love it.
